Catching up
Yes, it's been a while. Haven't felt like it, I suppose. We've been having a tough time with Amelia's sleeping again - she's been waking in the night and having awful tantrums. At least they seem like tantrums, though the pediatrician we went to see said they probably aren't. Still very distressing though. Most nights for the past two weeks.
Things with the play are moving along. I went last Wed. to watch a rehearsal of the one I wrote. Two of the actors and the director were there. I like the director, she's doing a good job. At least I think so, though I'm not an expert. The actors seems good too. It just seems odd that I wrote it - doesn't seem real, as if someone else must have done it.
The play I'm in has had a bit of a crisis, because they couldn't find anyone to play the part of one of the main characters, but the director phoned yesterday and said he thinks he's found someone. I hope so - less than three weeks to performance. Thank goodness they're only 15 minutes long.
My play will be performed on Friday, June 8.
By the way Dale, perhaps you were right about the language - the actor playing that part was really unhappy about saying it and argued that it was out of character, so I agreed to let him change it to 'bloody'.
Weather continues mostly rainy and un-summer like (though at least we didn't have snow, Suzie!) Still working in Tiverton but not as many days per week, trying to do more at home. Less stressful.
No-one's been commenting much - is it because I had to add a 'review' feature, because I started getting junk comments? Please let me know by e-mail if you're finding it a problem.
