I wub oo
This morning, I was in our bedroom with Amelia when she suddenly came out with, "I wub oo, Mummy." It wasn't apropos of anything. I don't think she was even looking at me - she was climbing up on to the bed. I didn't really take in what she'd said until she said it again. Then Ian came in and I said, "I think she just said 'I love you, Mummy.'" He said he'd thought she'd said "I love you, Daddy" yesterday, but he hadn't been sure.
She said it again at bedtime. We've been saying it to her for ages, of course, but I'm not sure what's brought this on. It's wonderful, though.
I wub oo, too, baby.

Hi, Marie!
Amelia sounds so sweet! Aren't those words just music to your ears!!!
Isabella has really "come into her own" these last few months. She seems to have suddenly gotten more confident and outgoing. She thinks nothing of telling me she's not going to do most anything I request! like.."NO, I not goin to stop yelling!" She was so cute in the back seat of the car with Maddy yesterday - I heard her say to her "Maddy, I sorry I was so mean to you. Do you forgive me?" Maddy then says, "Yah, I forgive ya Bella and I'm sorry I was so mean, too." Bella replies with "Dats ok, Maddy, I forgive ya." Of course two minutes later they are fighting!
I am gearing up to do my Christmas cards when I realized I don't have an address for you - also, does it take forever to get to you???? Let me know the best way to send a card, ok?
Take care, Janice

Ah, doesn't it feel good, Marie? So many joys lie ahead. I'm envious.
