Last message from N.B.

We're still in Fredericton. We weren't supposed to be - we were supposed to flly to Halifax yesterday, but my friend Kenda's children have had stomach flu and yesterday her husband came down with it, so we thought it prudent to cancel our flight and drive across today instead. Mum and Dad are kindly driving us over (it takes about 4 hours one way) and we'll all stay overnight in a hotel. I'm still hoping to meet up with Kenda tomorrow, even if it's just for a few hours.

On Saturday night we take our long flight back to the U.K. It leaves at 9:10 p.m. local time, and arrives at around 8 a.m. London time. When we flew back from Boston on the overnight flight Amelia hardly slept, so I'm not getting my hopes up this time.

Talk to you when we're back.

Well I guess you're probably back in England now, eh Marie? It must be hard to leave family and friends behind to cross the Atlantic again.
My word! Is Amelia ever getting cute!
